A Fortune 500 metal decorator (can coating) needed a capture ductwork system for both hot air and ambient temperature air to capture and route the exhaust from the ovens and decorators to a several air pollution control systems; including a thermal oxidizer and a bag filter system. The ductwork was part of a new facility build with multiple new manufacturing lines.
Complete Air Fab (CAF) was selected to carry out our 4th project with this metal decorator. We provided the extensive ductwork system, all tee diverters dampers, isolation dampers, and sourced all of the bag filters and fire suppression systems. This ductwork was an approximately equal mix of ambient temperature ductwork, and high temperature ductwork. The ambient temperature ductwork sourced air from the decorators, inside spray booths, and capture hoods. The high temperature ductwork captured air from the pin ovens and inside bake ovens, and required insulation and cladding to eliminate condensation on the interior duct walls and also for personnel protection.
